“Special VPPPA Region 1 Announcement”

 Due to a job and location change within GE to Atlanta, our VPPPA Region 1 Vice Chair Kimberly Hill has resigned from the VPPPA Region 1 Board of Directors.  While we wish Kim the very best in her new role and location, we are very sorry to see Kim leave our Region as she has been a tremendous asset and valuable contributor to our Board of Directors and to the Regional Chapter.   Thanks Kim for your dedicated volunteer service.

The Lynn General Electric Company has recently received their Voluntary Protection Program Participants Association (VPPPA) Star Recertification, after maintaining its status for the past 3 Years and the recent vigorous recertification audit. GE and all of the Employees / Unions are part of the VPP program which goes beyond just mere Safety & Compliance practices. With its employee Engagement programs Hazards are identified and fixed to avoid anyone getting hurt and everyone going home safe.
